Dr.Bunn and team were amazing with my dog. He was in the hospital a total of 3.5 days and had surgery. He hates being away from home and has a lot of anxiety. He was a tricky patient but the team took excellent care of my little boy. Dr. Bunn performed his surgery and was super communicative. He was cautious before the surgery started and wanted to make sure there wasn’t another medical issues occurring. Dr.Bunn and team went above and beyond. I was able to bring my little guy home and he is thriving and so happy. I’m so happy. Thank you so much!

I was forgotten about in their examination room for about 2 hours then lied to. Would only use in case of extreme emergency. I arrived yesterday 8/18/26 around 6:30 PM seeking treatment for my dog who was showing odd symptoms. I was promptly brought back to their "Hawaii" room. Within minuets a vet technician came in and took vitals and by 7 pm the vet came in and made a hypothesis on a potential cause but blood work and xray would be recommended to determine the best course of action. Almost immediately after the customer service person came back and had me sign paperwork regarding DNR status and provided a quote of potential cost. Total interaction with staff ended by 7:10 pm. Around 8:50 pm I approached the front desk asking if there was an update. Front desk clerk said they would check with the vet. About 5 min later she comes in with a digital payment device saying she is ready to take payment, when I explained that my pet was not actually treated she said something similar to " Oh I am sorry I should have told them you were ready and I didn't, let me get the vet". The Vet came in promptly after she left and explained that they had emergencies come in that took priority. I made the comment that the clerk just told me something different, and their response was "What did they tell you". Making me believe that what I am being told is now false. After all the waiting it didn't seem that the vet was interested in doing the Xray anymore as I was told alternatives that they could provide pain killers to help my pet be comfortable for me to come back later, and even offered to provide anti inflammatory medication, which they previously explained required blood work to ensure no adverse reactions. I will end with this, I understand nightshift is probably very difficult to staff. That the staff that does answer this call more than likely only experience the absolute worst situations on a frequent basis. However, in this situation I am confident that I was forgotten and then lied to. The cherry on top of this experience is when I was paying for the services that I did receive, the clerk told me that they would be sending me a survey and that I should relay how my experience was and that the survey results do get reviewed. Welp, no survey was sent and I know they have my correct email as I received the invoice and diagnosis paperwork just fine after leaving.

I highly recommend 1st pet. The staff is very professional and nice. The vetinarian is the best. She answered all of my questions and concerns and took her time and didn't rush. My dog is in great hands there.
